FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: steel sheets are first coated with aqueous solution of a fluxing agent containing 55 mol % KF and 45 mol % AlF3, moisture is removed, the sheets are packed and soaked in molten aluminium with overheating temperature 50-100°C higher than the liquidus line of aluminium alloy.
EFFECT: wetting steel with aluminium and forming a quality adhesion bond between aluminium and steel, which enables to increase adhesion strength of layers of composite material.
