FIELD: heat-resistant wear-resistant coatings production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of heat-resistant wear-resistant coatings based on titanium aluminides on the surface of a titanium alloy article. An aluminum layer is obtained on the surface of the said product by coating the surface of the product with an aqueous solution of an activating flux containing KF 55 mol.% and AlF3 45 mol.%, moisture is removed, and then the said product is immersed in an aluminum melt to form an aluminum alloy. The temperature of the aluminum melt is 750-850°C, the exposure time is 15-30 s. After obtaining the aluminum layer, the said product is subjected to high-temperature annealing at a temperature of 800-900°C for 0.25-0.5 h with the formation of a coating based on titanium aluminides on the surface of the specified product.
EFFECT: high productivity of the process of obtaining coatings based on titanium aluminides at low labor intensity.
