SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of composite materials, in particular to production of laminated titanium-magnesium composite materials. Titanium sheets are pre-coated with a layer of aluminum, then they are coated with an aqueous solution of an activating flux, moisture is removed, collected in bags and impregnated in magnesium melt with overheating temperature of 50–100 °C above the liquidus line of the magnesium alloy, the activating flux is used, which contains the following, %: LiCl 40–50, KCl 30–40, NaCl 5–10, NaF 5–10.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the adhesive bond between components of the composite material.
