SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a windscreen wiper brush (10). A brush comprises a cleaning tape (12) with rubber-like elasticity. The cleaning tape (12) is retained with at least one spring plank (14, 16) used as a holder. At least at one end of the longitudinal length of the holder there is an end cap (20). In accordance with the invention, the end cap (20) has at least one first energy-consuming area (22) and the second zone (24), which first of all gives rigidity to the end cap. The first energy-consuming zone (22) consists of softer material compared to the second zone.
EFFECT: invention achieves increased service life.
