FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: geometric parameters and placement of load fixation are determined by means of position indicating devices through indication of correction planes with generation at least one light mark on rim of wheel which defines assumed places of load fixation. Also, there are determined geometric parameters of said correction planes by means of a contact-free measuring device and a computing device. Upon determination of weight and angular parameters of loads position, loads are fixed in places indicated with light marks. Amount of light marks on one or both sides of a wheel is equal to amount of correction planes on each side. By control over each device of position indication, a light mark is beamed on any place of the rim chosen for fixation of load of any type, both on end and on cylinder surface, keeping the light marks in these positions. Each light mark is converted into digital codes by means of a measuring optical stereo-system consisting of two contact-free measuring devices. Digital codes are transmitted into the computing device which calculates geometric parameters of position of loads of any type as equal to positions of light marks. Further, loads are secured in places indicated with light marks by means of turning the wheel by indications of sensor of angular position of a shaft till calculated angular place of load fixation and angular position of a light mark match. Centre of load is conjugated with centre of the light mark.
EFFECT: raised efficiency, reliability and long-term stability of measurement of geometric parameters.
