SHOCK TABLE Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC G01M7/08

Abstract RU 2438109 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: shock table consists of cylinder explosive chamber with charge of ES (explosive substance) installed in it. An accelerating compartment encasing a testing object is attached to the explosive chamber on one side, while a plug is attached on another side. Between the explosive chamber and the accelerating compartment there is secured damper of shock waves (SWD) coaxially to lengthwise axis of the table. The damper of shock waves is made in form of a disk and has blind holes with diametre D and depth H corresponding to a range of 2D≤H≤5D on its surface facing the charge - the ES. The holes are distributed uniformly and concentrically relative to lengthwise axis of the table. Number of holes has summary area of their cross section of 30-35 % of area of cross section of the acceleration compartment. On opposite surface of the SWD there are made circular grooves concentrically relative to lengthwise axis of the table. The grooves cross holes so, that area of through perforation of the SWD amounts to 5-10 % of area of cross section of the acceleration compartment. Area of each hole crossing with the groove is equal or larger, than area of cross section of the hole. Also, area of cross section of each groove with plane perpendicular to lengthwise axis of the table is equal or larger, than summary area of cross section of holes outcomig to this groove. Sections of the grooves between holes and the acceleration compartment diverge in the direction of the acceleration compartment.

EFFECT: approximation of test conditions to natural.
