SUBSTANCE: input image is turned with the given Green function; obtained resultants are subtracted from each other to obtain a finite-difference approximation first-order derivative of the resultant input image with a filter; when searching for the local extremum of said resultant, corresponding first-order derivatives are equated to zero; all local extrema are found and adaptive threshold filtering is performed to cut off insignificant features, wherein the selected points serve as centres of vicinities for which arbitrary descriptors are constructed.
EFFECT: high accuracy of recognising objects.
