SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for making beverages (1), comprising a device for foaming and/or heating the milk (3), which is connected via a conduit of milk intake (7) with a container for milk (10), and a cleaning device for cleaning the conduit of milk intake (7) and a device for foaming and/or heating the milk (3) by means of washing liquid. Milk can be drained from the milk container (10) into the device for foaming and/or heating the milk (3) with the help of vacuum, which can be created in the device for foaming and/or heating the milk (3). The washing device includes a switching valve (8), which can be switched into the operating position in which the dairy connection is provided between the container for milk (10) and a device for foaming and/or heating the milk (3) through the conduit of milk intake (7), and into a washing position where the first connection of washing liquid is provided between the output of the washing liquid of the device for making beverages (1) and the device for foaming and/or heating the milk (3) through the washing pipeline (6), the switching valve (8) switched to the washing position, and the conduit of milk intake (7).
