SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machines for preparation of beverages for preparation of beverages or similar products from a portion package with a shell (for example, capsule) and extractable substance (for example, coffee), contained in a fine-piece package. According to the invention beverage preparation machine contains preparation unit for preparation of the cooked beverage from water and extractable substance or extract and, in addition, display device (31). It is configured so that it is possible for the user to install the first quantity of beverage before the beverage preparation, and so that after beginning and during beverage preparation possibility of adjustment of remaining non-zero quantity of beverage is provided by control element (32).
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of the beverage quantity adjustment most convenient for the user.
