FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to infant surgery, infant ultrasonic diagnostics, and is intended for diagnostics of subclinical forms of innate inguinal hernia. Ultrasonic scanning of scrotum organs is performed. State of vaginal diverticulum is assessed at rest and at Valsalva maneuvre height. Diameter of surface and internal inguinal ring is measured. If surface inguinal ring is not expanded and internal inguinal ring is moderately increased to: 4.55 - 5.9 mm at the age of 4-7 years, 4.91 - 8.69 mm at 8-10 years, 5.86 - 7.14 at 11-12 years, while hernia sac is visualised in upper third of inguinal canal at Valsalva maneuvre height then subclinical form of innate inguinal hernia is diagnosed.
EFFECT: objective diagnostics of subclinical forms of innate inguinal hernia in the absence of clinical symptoms for young children and patients with expressed hypodermic tissues.
