SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology, and aims at preventing the onset of a fibrosis phenomenon of an anterior capsule of lens following cataract extraction and implantation of an intraocular lenses. 4-6 through radial incision 0.5-1.0 mm long are made from a border of an anterior circular capsulorhexis immediately before extraction of a nucleus of lens.
EFFECT: method assures prevention of the postoperative fibrous ring of the anterior capsule of lens in eyes with pseudophakia, of deformation of the capsule and dislocation of the IOL in an eye provided minimum additional intervention.
