FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making tunnel access. Circular capsulorhexis, nucleus hydrodissection and mechanical nucleus fragmentation into parts is carried out with evacuation of all of them following. Hydrodissection being done, maximum desquamation of equatorial layers of the nucleus is carried out as much as possible. Mechanical fragmentation of nucleus is performed in the capsule sack. To do it, the nucleus is fixed with spatula at the point placed the most close to the incision and notches are produced with sharp instrument like phakochopper along the nucleus at 2/3 of its depth in the plane being in perpendicular relation to the incision. The operation begins at the point the most distant from the incision point. The spatula is introduced into the so formed crack holding it maximum close to the cutting part of the phakochopper. Nucleus fragmentation is performed by moving the instruments apart in perpendicular to the crack. EFFECT: reduced operation and postoperative complications.
