FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for elimination of phimosis of anterior capsulorhexis after phacoemulsification of cataract on eyes with chronic uveitis with intact Zinn ligaments. For this purpose, the working part of the Sinskey hook rests against the transparent part of the anterior capsule on the border with the existing fibrous tissues, and a portion of fibrous tissue, where it begins to peel off from the unchanged tissue of the capsular bag, is gripped with collet tweezers. Moving along the edge of the capsulotomy hole with a traction vector along the tangent, the entire fibrous tissue is removed with the help of collet forceps.
EFFECT: invention enables reducing the risk of intra- and postoperative complications caused by injuries of the anterior lens capsule.
