FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-voltage water treatment processes. Proposed invention consists in that water jet is formed by forcing water through inner space of high-voltage electrode and outlet of said space at electrode bottom. Constant one-polarity potential, positive or negative relative to grounded electrode, is fed to said electrode. Note here that potential absolute magnitude is selected in the range of 1-5 kV. Then, after jet formation and its escape from the nozzle into gas medium, said jet is bent by magnetic field with intensity lines directed perpendicular to axis of symmetry of formed jet. Note also that said intensity is smoothly varied unless bent water jet pours into one of two collectors made up of a single vessel with partition dividing it into two symmetrical parts. Note that control water level is preset in every said part equal to h3 proceeding from relation 0.95h≥h3≥0.9h where h is water collector height. Note also that in filling said collector water level is continuously controlled. Then, with water level reaching preset control value h3 sign of potential at high-voltage electrode is reversed to bend water jet in opposite direction and pout it out into second collector.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of treatment.
