FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of industrial and household effluents with the help of air dispersers and may be used in sewage treatment plant aerotanks in bioscrubbing of effluents. Prepared mix of effluents and active sludge is fed into reservoir 1 via water duct 2. After filling said reservoir, air is into hollow ceramic body of disperser 7 from air duct 4 via flow restricting device 6. Dispersed air is fed from said hollow body via its gas-permeable walls into water-sludge medium wherein active biological oxidation of contaminants occurs due to bubbling and convective flows. Purified water is fed from aerotank via water duct 3 into filtration units.
EFFECT: higher intensity and efficiency, reduced consumption of air, metal, capital and operating costs.
