FIELD: machine-building industry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes treatment of metal surfaces by chlorine-free acidic water solution of fluoride complex of, at least, one M element, selected from a group including B, Si, Ti, Zr and Hf, containing no more than 1 mg/l of organic polymer with allyl amine or vinyl amine monomers, buffer system for pH range from 2.5 to 5.5, and, at least, another component selected from a group including nitrate-ions, copper ions, silver ions, vanadium ions or vanadite ions, ions of bismuth, magnesium, zinc, cobalt, manganese, nickel ions, tin ions, aromatic carbon acids with, at least, two groups containing atom-donors or derivatives of the said carbon acids, silicic acid particulates of medium size less than 1 micrometre, water rinsing, applying vanish which is settled by cathode electrophoresis after its contact with water solution of fluoride complex, no drying before applying vanish.

EFFECT: invention allows to produce anti-corrosion layer on clear metal surfaces and to provide needed effect of protection from corrosion and vanish adhesion if surfaces are not dried before vanish application.
