FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises irradiating sea ice by sounding pulses, measuring time interval between separated said pulses and tomographic imaging wherein, for increase in validity of defining weight-dimension factors of, mainly, icebergs, length of correlation of dynamic variables is defined that describe power and/or pulse flows from top to bottom of said iceberg on affecting it by coherent pulse proton spin echo. Note that tomographic imaging is performed at the level of ice lattice, that is, tridymite.
EFFECT: higher accuracy.
