FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: in order to predict duration of tick-borne encephalitis virus antigenemia till introduction of anti-tick immunoglobulin in infected people level of spontaneous and induced production of cytokins IFN-γ and IL-4 is determined. If level of spontaneous production of IFN-γ is higher than 59.7 pg/ml, and level of induced production is higher than 122.2 pg/ml, level of spontaneous production of IL-4 being lower than 23.5 pg/ml, level of induced production being lower than 25.3 pg/ml, quick elimination of antigen is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine duration of antigenemia period in initial period if viral infection, which contributes to selection of correct tactics of treating patient.
