SUBSTANCE: presents a method for determining the specific sensitization of lymphocytes to toxoplasma includes incubation of whole heparinized blood with toxoplasma antigen for 72 hours. Next, the concentrations of spontaneous and antigen-induced gamma interferon in the culture supernatant are determined spectrophotometrically using ELISA, while the level of a specific cellular response is estimated by the stimulation index and the index of the difference between the concentrations of antigen-induced and spontaneous interferon gamma, and if the value of the stimulation index exceeds 23 or the difference between the concentration values of the antigen induced and spontaneous interferon gamma exceeds 77 pg/ml, then the result is considered positive, indicating the presence of specific sensitization of lymphocytes to toxoplasma; with simultaneous excess of the stimulation index of 23 and the difference between the concentrations of antigen-induced and spontaneous interferon gamma exceeding 77 pg/ml, sensitization of lymphocytes to toxoplasma is considered pronounced.

EFFECT: the invention can be used when examining persons with suspected toxoplasmosis to establish the fact of sensitization to toxoplasma antigens, as well as to assess the degree of endemicity of the territory and the risk of infection with toxoplasmosis and is aimed at improving the assessment of the cellular link of immunity against toxoplasmosis in vitro.
