FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: working mixture for iodine photodissociation laser contains perfluoro iodide and an injector of additional CF3 radicals. The CF3 radical injector used in the working mixture is gaseous perfluoroacetic anhydride - (CF3CO)2O at partial pressure 0.05-0.5 of the partial pressure of perfluoro iodide. Alsoworking mixture comprises inert buffer gas.

EFFECT: low divergence and good homogeneity of the laser beam while increasing energy at the output and reducing contamination of the working volume with solid photolysis products.
