FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an earthing device for an electrically conductive jacket of a cable, particularly for aluminium or lead jackets that are used for low voltage cables. Earthing device (100) for electrically conductive jacket (120) of cable (116) has contact element (102) with connecting line (104) for connection to an earthing point, contact element (102) being constructed such that it surrounds a periphery of the cable, at least in part, in the mounted state. Retaining element (108, 110) for pressing contact element (102) onto the electrically conductive jacket of the cable is constructed such that it surrounds contact element (102) from the outside in the mounted state and generates a defined electrical contact between contact element (102) and electrically conductive jacket (120).
EFFECT: invention provides the creation of universal earthing devices that are installed safely and cheaply and guarantee a reliable electrical connection.
