FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to medicine, occupational hygiene and can be also used for assessing the occupational health risk for hot shop workers. To this effect, the thermal radiation intensity, total duration of heat exposure and ambient temperature shall be determined. The derived values are used to provide terms of employment and resting time rules for workers. In addition, a heat radiation dose which workers are exposed to during a working shift shall be determined. The time of staying in the area of maximal heat radiation is determined provided that the heat radiation dose does not exceed the highest possible value with a glance of the exposure heat dose.
EFFECT: method allows providing higher effectiveness for assessing the occupational risk, evaluating a degree of health risk for hot shop workers and determining the possible time of staying in the area of maximal heat radiation.
