The detriment is measured in man-day of average expectable time for shortened duration per a year to detect according to the dependence: Dpop = [exp•a(Cenv-TACsetl)B-1]•365•N, where Dpop - the detriment for population, Cenv -concentration of substance in surrounding air (mg/cu. M); TACsteel -threshold concentration of substance in the air of settled places; 365 d - conversion factor for transition from relative detriment to absolute one per a year; N - amount of population, moreover, empirical coefficients a and b should be measured due to calculation method in accordance with up-to-date hygienic criteria of classification of labor conditions.
