METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE DOSE OF COMBINED UV AND IR EXPOSURE TO HUMAN SKIN Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G01J1/00

Abstract RU 2802161 C1

FIELD: health tools.

SUBSTANCE: determination of the recommended safe time of human skin exposure to sunlight in order to prevent skin diseases, including skin cancer. The claimed method for determining the dose of combined UV and IR exposure to human skin consists in obtaining and subsequent processing of data from an IR exposure sensor, a UV exposure sensor on the subject's skin. The method is based on an individual evaluation algorithm, including simultaneously determining the intensity of UV and IR ranges, the time of exposure to the skin of the examined, age indicators, and also taking into account the color characteristic of the skin of the examined, to calculate the safe values of the current and cumulative radiation components by obtaining the results of the examination in real time, allowing to take into account the data obtained jointly and simultaneously from two UV and IR sensors, allowing to determine both the negative impact and the positive impact on human skin, as well as to determine the individual threshold value of the dose of combined UV and IR exposure to human skin, assessing the risks of combined UV and IR exposure to human skin when using protective and preventive agents.

EFFECT: determining the effect of a dose of the combined UV and IR components of the solar spectrum on human skin to develop a calculation algorithm and a device for determining the cumulative dose of UV and IR radiation received by a person and estimating the recommended time spent under the influence of UV and IR radiation.
