FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to medicine, namely paediatrics, paediatric nephrology and urology and aims at diagnosing nephroangiosclerosis in children and adolescents. Doppler sonography of renal vessels is conducted. A maximum systolic speed and a resistance index are measured at the level of interlobal renal arteries prior to and 30 minutes after intramuscular injections of Lasiks 1 mg/kg. If the end diastolic speed reduces more than 5% and resistance index increases more than 2%, a normal reaction of the renal parenchyma arteries is to be diagnosed. The unchanged blood flow velocity rates, or the increasing end diastolic velocity and the decreasing resistance index enables diagnosing the presence of fibrosclerotic, dysplastic changes in the renal parenchyma - nephroangiosclerosis.
EFFECT: technique is simple; it doesn't require special preparation for examination, allows detecting nephroangiosclerosis in children and adolescents at the different stages of renal disease.
