DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR DYSPRAXIA DEVELOPMENT IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B10/00 A61B5/11

Abstract RU 2440034 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, neurology, paediatrics and aims at early detection of praxic dysfunctions in preschool children. A method involves testing child's static locomotor competence with using a visual pattern by a two-foot vertical jump test in a beat of 'one-two-three-four' counting. Count one - legs to be taken apart, count two - crossed, count three - taken apart, count four - crossed, while count two - one leg to be in front of the other, count four - the other leg to be in front of the first. Developmental dyspraxia is diagnosed if the presented test shows inability to jump on the visual pattern and/or follow the specified beat, and/or the legs are crossed with pelvic turn.

EFFECT: technique allows simplifying the diagnosis of developmental dyspraxia in children of the given age group, reducing time of studying with maintaining diagnostic accuracy of the given pathology.
