FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration of minerals to density by flushing granulated, powder and lumpy materials exploiting centrifugal force and may be used for production of gravity concentrate containing heavy minerals, particularly, noble metals and their compounds, with continuous yield of preset amount of enriched product. Proposed concentrator comprises coaxial rotors with different angular rotation speed and auger fitted on inner rotor outer surface. Rotors are driven by independent drive motors with smooth rpm adjustment. Rotors are made up of cylindrical drums. Inner rotor inner surface represents a cone made from polyurethane. Aforesaid auger has two coils.
EFFECT: higher yield of heavy minerals and process efficiency.
