FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method of producing new enantiomerically rich complexes of cyclopentadienyl-1-neomenthyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindenyl zirconium alkyl chloridesof the common formula (1 a, b) , where R = Et, n-Bu. Method involves reaction of cyclopentadienyl-1-neomenthyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindenyl zirconium dichloride (π-complex) with alkyllithium RLi, where R is described above, in molar ratio π-complex: RLi=1:(0.8-1.2) in argon at -78°C, in toluene and then raising temperature to room temperature and stirring for 20 minutes.
EFFECT: obtaining novel enantiomerically rich complexes of cyclopentadienyl-1-neomenthyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindenyl zirconium alkyl chlorides with a chiral centre at the zirconium atom, which can be used as a component of catalyst systems.
