The method involves receiving a first message (202) from a first communication centre (110), the first message being transmitted through a logical port (174) in the communication centre, and keeping the logical port open for at least a minimum period of time. A second message (210) can be received from a second communication centre (112), where the second message requests an identifier associated with the first communication centre. Further, a third message (214) can be sent to the first communication centre through the logical port. The third message can identify the second communication centre as a candidate for setting up a peer-to-peer communication line over which data exchange content can be sent to a first remote device (104).
EFFECT: more secure communication.
