FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for prediction of complicated course of peripheral uveitis. Ultrasonic Dopplerography of orbit and eyeball is carried out. Change of blood flow indices is registered one time in initial state in ophthalmic artery (OA), central retinal artery (CRA) and posterior short ciliary arteries (PSCA). Indices of maximal systolic blood flow velocity - Vs, minimal diastolic blood flow velocity - Vd and index of peripheral resistance- Ri. In case if registered Vs value is 9.89±0.25 cm/sec, Vd 2.96±0.06 cm/sec in CRA, and Vs 7.53±0.66 cm/sec and Vd 2.45±0.11 cm/sec and Ri 0.76±0.01 in PSCA, predicted is complicated course of peripheral uveitis with development of macular edema, subretinal neovascular membrane, macular hole, cystic maculopathy or secondary maculodystrophy.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict complicated course of peripheral uveitis, begin adequate treatment in due time, reduce number of complications.
