FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves estimating regional eyeball blood circulation parameters by applying Doppler flowmetry approach. Maximum systolic speed being reduced in orbital artery by 20% or more in combination with final diastolic speed reduction by 15% or more when compared to normal values, maximum systolic speed being reduced in posterior ciliary arteries by 8% or more and final diastolic speed reduction by 22% or more when compared to normal values, maximum systolic speed being reduced in long ciliary arteries by 10% or more and final diastolic speed reduction by 24% or more when compared to normal values, quantum therapy approach is considered to be expedient.
EFFECT: high accuracy of the method.
