SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, neurology, cardiovascular surgery, X-ray endovascular diagnostic techniques. According to OCTA data are determined on both eyes: vascular density, skeletonized vascular density in superficial and deep vascular plexuses of retina in macular region. It involves Doppler colour mapping of extraocular vessels before and in the early postoperative period: ophthalmic artery, central retinal artery, central retinal vein, medial and lateral posterior short ciliary arteries. Laser Doppler flowmetry is carried out with determination of intraocular pressure before operation and in early postoperative period. Derived data of the listed parameters are used to state the recovery of the eyeball microcirculation.

EFFECT: method allows for the non-invasive assessment of the eye microcirculation recovery after carotid revascularization operations, which reduces the diagnosis traumatism, enables assessing the microcirculation recovery immediately following the revascularisation surgery, thereby prescribing an adequate therapy and a further therapeutic approach, thereby reducing a rate of possible complications and improving a long-term prognosis.
