FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grinding and may be used in whatever industry that uses fine materials Proposed method comprises feed material to be ground between two different-geometry metal disks revolving in opposition. Gradient electric field is induced along edges of said disks to cause gas discharge. Sound wave generated by acoustic radiator is used to act on said discharge to vary its density to create acoustic radiation in wide frequency range that facilitates material grinding.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of grinding, power savings.
