FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of extinguishing foam with the help of acoustic vibrations and can be used for provision of technological bubbling units, operation of which is accompanied by formation of foam during blowing gas liquid phase, separating gases during irreversible chemical reactions, decomposition of complex compounds with formation of gas components in mechanical foam formation. Device contains process vessel with fluid with foam layer and acoustic radiators in form of gas-jet radiators. Gas-jet radiators are mounted on side surface of process vessel with possibility to direct audio range acoustic radiation to foam layer. Gas-jet radiators are installed at level above maximum permissible total height of liquid column and foam layer height preset by technological parameters of device. With thickness of foam layer to 30 % of total height of liquid column and foamy layer height power of acoustic radiation of gas-jet radiators ranges from 0.1 to 0.35 W/m3 of foam layer volume and frequency of acoustic radiation is from 500 to 1000 Hz. With thickness of foam layer from 30 to 80% of total height of liquid column and height of foam layer gas-jet radiators acoustic radiation power is from 0.35 to 0.6 W/m3, and frequency of acoustic radiation is from 100 to 500 Hz.

EFFECT: technical result achieved by invention is upgraded efficiency of foam suppression, simplification of foam suppression technology, reduction of costs for maintenance of technological bubbling units.
