FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises producing vanadium slags with high calcium content with CaO/V2O5 ratio varying from 0.5 to 1.4, roasting said vanadium slags in fluidised bed furnace at 850-950°C. Said slags are roasted for 30-150 minutes. Then, roasted clinker is leached in sulphuric acid solution to produce vanadium slags from leaching solution.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced power consumption.
