FIELD: chemical technology; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemical technology and metallurgy, namely to the production of a vanadium-chromium alloy by vanadium extraction from vanadium-chromium slag. The vanadium-chromium alloy is calcinated with oxide or salt of alkaline earth metal as an additive and is leached with acid for selective vanadium extraction. The resulting traces are leached for dephosphorization at low pH, and reactions with carbonate for desulfurization are carried out. After removal of phosphorus and sulfur, chromium-containing traces are reduced and melted to obtain chromium-containing pig iron. Chromium-containing pig iron is melted with addition of alloying elements to obtain a vanadium-chromium alloyed product.
EFFECT: extraction from slag of vanadium up to 92.5% and chromium up to 85.6%, reuse of wastewater in a system, and disposal of resources in the form of waste residues.
