METHOD OF DEVELOPING OIL DEPOSIT WITH SEVERAL OIL ACCUMULATIONS LOCATED ONE ABOVE ANOTHER Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC E21B43/20 

FIELD: oil-and-gas production.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises plotting structural maps with contours of oil accumulation, drilling exploring wells, drilling extra wells for well pattern compaction. Prior to drilling extra wells, additional analysis of exploration and production wells products is performed to specify boundaries of oil-saturated accumulations. Total contour of oil deposit and maximum total oil saturation zone are defined to drill additional well therein to drill additional wells to open appropriate accumulations so that well bottoms do not extend beyond oil deposit total contour. Note here that said additional wells located at intersections of accumulations open intersected accumulations and are equipped with devices intended for simultaneous separate production by additional wells or for injection of displacement agent into opened accumulations via extra injection additional wells.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, well rate of yield, simultaneous operation of several productive reservoirs.
