FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: during development of a low-explored oil deposit, the deposit is drilled with a rare grid, withdrawal of product via producing formations and injection of a working agent via injection wells. Detailed seismic research is carried out in the drilled well by the method of vertical seismic profiling in direction of higher hypsometric structure marks in three directions that divert by not more than 60° and not more than 600 m in length. The forecasted structural plan of the producing formation is confirmed, areas are separated to increase hypsometric marks. Upon conformation of the forecasted structural plan, using the research results, a planned well is drilled in direction of seismic profiles to the area of higher hypsometric marks at the distance of 300-400 metres from the drilled one. If the forecasted structural plan is not confirmed, a planned well is moved into a zone of higher hypsometric marks according to the new structural plan and is drilled in a new place adjusted by results of vertical seismic profiling - VSP, and availability of a commercial oil-saturated thickness of at least two metres, the well is cased and developed as the producing one in an arc and/or near-arc parts of structures that control the oil deposit and/or as the injection one in lower parts of structures, in a border zone and at least 70 metres from an oil pool outline. Using the drilling results, placement of planned well stock is adjusted.
EFFECT: possibility to optimise placement of producing and injection wells, lower financial costs and elimination of drilling of empty and water-bearing wells.
