FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of medicine, namely -to orthopedics and traumatology. Linear longitudinal approach to the metatarsal bone shaft is performed from the metatarsophalangeal joint to the tarsophalangeal joint. Transverse osteotomy of the metatarsal bone is performed at its proximal joint end level. The metatarsal bone shaft, the metatarsophalangeal joint, sesamoid bones and the toe shall be dissected en bloc. Kirschner wires shall be passed through the distal part of two adjacent metatarsal bones and fastened to an external fixation device. Proportioned reciprocal movement of two beams is performed to remove the wound chamber and the wound defect.
EFFECT: method arrests purulent inflammation, prevents gangrene, reduces the wound healing time.
