FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nanochemistry and specifically to method of metal chalcogenides production in nanosize condition. Method to produce metal chalcogenide nanoparticles stabilised by chalcogen-organic ligands with the following composition - MekYI(YR)m, where Me=Zn, Cd, Hg, Pb; Y=S, Se, Te; R=CH3, C2H5, C4H9, HOCH2CH2; k=12-28, I=8-24, m=4-8, from chalcogen and metal salts, includes preliminary activation of chalcogen with alkali in hydrazine-hydrate, at the same time chalcogen is activated at the following ratio of alkali: chalcogen - 1:2-4 at the temperature of 60-70°C, and produced solution of polychalcogenide of alkaline metal is complemented with organic halogenide, which results in formation of organic polychalcogenide, besides, the latter is separated from water-hydrazine layer and is exposed to alkali in hydrazine-hydrate with further addition of metal salt solution.
EFFECT: elimination of use of hard-to-get, unstable and toxic organic dichalcogenides, and also elimination of activation stage of organic dichalcogenide, which must be carried out in separate equipment.
