FIELD: surgery.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for anatomic resection of the V liver segment. The tourniquet is clamped on the right gracile sector crus for marking its real anatomic limits on the liver capsule. Without unclamping the tourniquet on the right gracile sector the tourniquets on the left lobar crus and the common scapus of the left and middle liver veins are set for the time necessary for the transection of the liver parenchyma along the ventral half of the interlobar rima. The tourniquets on the left lobar crus, scapus of the left and middle liver veins and right gracile sector crus are unclamped. Then the right lobar crus and right liver vein are pinched for the time necessary for the transection of the liver parenchyma along the right limit of the V segment and then along the limits of the V and III segments. All the tourniquets are removed and blood flow in the liver is repaired.
EFFECT: means allows cutting time for the operation, reducing hemorrhage and avoid liver ischemia.
