FIELD: centrifugal separator.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices applied to separation of gas mixtures applied to different industries; the centrifugal separator for separating gas mixtures comprises the housing with the tangential nozzle input of the pressurized gas, the vortex chamber connected to or coupled with the tangential nozzle input and the plenum chamber located above the vortex chamber; the tangential nozzle input of the pressurized gas is made conjointly with the induct junction pipe and has a convergent channel; the vortex chamber is formed by the channel in the shape of the radial spiral on the inside surface of housing with the limiting diaphragm mounted above the vortex chamber coaxially with the housing, the diaphragm has the central aperture for the light gas dilatable towards the plenum chamber; the stepped from the outside and tubular cylinder is mounted end-to-end with the diaphragm, the cylinder and the housing form the enclosed circular pocket for the vortex chamber which is connected to the additional vortex chamber herein the gas is swirled by means of tangential convergent apertures; the tangential convergent apertures are conjoint with the spiral-like channels performed from the inside of the body of the tubular cylinder and represent the additional vortex chamber.
EFFECT: high quality gas mixtures separation.
