FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy in particular to the method of pressing of powder materials in the presence of liquids; the granulated plasticized powder is poured into the internal cavity of the matrix and then the volatile easily evaporating liquid is infed from the side of the pressing punch and thereafter pressing or pressing-off are performed; two different liquids are infed into the cavity, when mixed they generate heat exceeding the heat of wetting; the liquid is infed into the cavity at different temperatures and different pressure through the end-to-end channels symmetrically made in the sidewalls of the circular tubular chambers forming the internal cavity of the matrix and connecting the internal cavity to the liquid accommodating cavity; the liquids are supplied onto the upper surface and/or lengthwise the lateral surface of the filled in powder in the amount of 0.2-3 of the pores volume given the powder state as it is after having been filled into the cavity; the press tool comprises the matrix, the upper and lower punches and the liquid supply device; the matrix cavity is made by certain, insulated from one another tubular washers having the independent supply of liquid to each washer and creating the liquid pressure independently from one another; at the bottom the press tool is equipped with the device for vacuuming the liquid passed through the powder.
EFFECT: enhancement of the wet pressing.
