FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to forming of powder materials in the presence of fluid. Plasticised powder is filled in mould comprising female die and top and bottom male dies. Prior to forming, readily evaporating fluid is fed from top male die to carry out the forming. Fluid is sprayed over the entire surface of filled powder in amount prohibiting formation of entrapped air. Said fluid features liophobic properties with respect to plasticised powder. Fluid feed device is composed of atomiser to spray preset amount of said fluid located at powder feeder outer side, in symmetry to female die cavity center. Pumpdown device is arranged on bottom male die side.
EFFECT: higher quality of finished products.
