FIELD: packaging.

SUBSTANCE: device contains a charging section designed for location of the packed products on the lower thermoplastic film at some intervals, a sealing section where the products are covered with the upper thermoplastic film, the upper thermoplastic film is heated, the space between the upper and the lower film is vacuumized, and the products on the top and on all sides are wrapped with the upper film sealing the films at the point of their contact and the cutting place where the films overlap and sealed. The cutting place includes a cutting device that has a laser source generating a laser beam with the first class optical power, and a beam direction device that enables to send the beam to the point where both films touch each other. The reflected laser beam follows the predetermined direction. The packaging method with the use of film fabric and stipulating production of packets within one sealing cycle includes location of the packed products on the lower thermoplastic film at the corresponding intervals, covering of the products with the upper thermoplastic film, heating of the upper thermoplastic film, degassing of the space between the upper thermoplastic film and the lower thermoplastic film. The products are wrapped on the top and on all sides with the upper film thus obtaining complete sealing at the points where the films contact each other, and the packed products are separated with the help of cutting. The cutting is performed by means of sending a laser beam along the predetermined path with the help of at least a reflecting device and an electric motor.
