FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multilayer films for vacuum packaging in a tight film, a method for production thereof, a method of packaging using said films and packages, manufactured by such method. Cross-linked film, which can be used as an upper web when packed in a vacuum into a tight film, contains at least: a) outer sealing layer containing one or more complex (co)polyesters, having glass transition temperature (Tg) not higher than 50 °C, measured in accordance with ASTM D 3418, and/or melting point (Tm) of not higher than 170 °C, preferably not higher than 160 °C, more preferably not higher than 150 °C, measured in accordance with ASTM D 3418; abnormally stable outer layer c) containing one or more polymers selected from a group, consisting of polyolefins and their copolymers, polyamides, polyesters, styrene-based polymers, and optionally a binding layer (b) located between layers (a) and (c).
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain films with very high formability, implosion resistance, processability and resistance to misalignment and is characterized by excellent condensate retention and easy opening properties, especially when sealed with polyester-based substrates; packages demonstrate good condensate retention, easy opening ability and high efficiency of use in a microwave oven.
