FIELD: packaging.

SUBSTANCE: in the method the product is placed between the lower bearing shaped element and the upper film tight-fitting the product and hermetically connected to the bearing element on all sides of the product in places where the bearing element and the film is in contact with each other. For this, the product is placed on the flat lower carrier web, the web with the product and the upper thermoplastic web which is located above them is fed in a vacuum chamber. The chamber comprises an upper element which is a heated upper cavity and a lower element which is a negative mould having a profile corresponding to the profile of the bearing element of the package. Then the elements of the vacuum chamber are jointed, and due to the pressure difference the upper web is pulled in the direction of the upper cavity; air or gas is evacuated from the space between the upper and lower webs, while simultaneously providing a vacuum above the upper and from the bottom of the lower webs. Air is supplied from the top of the upper web, moving it close to the product and the lower web, moulding the profile of the lower web and connecting the upper web with the lower web on all sides of the product to obtain a tight-fitting sealed packaging. Vacuum is removed, the chamber is opened. The packages can be disconnected from one another. The device for implementation of the method comprises a means for placing the product on a flat lower bearing web, means for feeding flat web with the product placed on it in a vacuum chamber for packing in tight-fitting film. The chamber comprises an upper element, which is a heated upper cavity and a lower element which is a negative mould for vacuum forming, having a profile corresponding to the profile of the bearing element of the package. The device also comprises means for supplying the upper web above the product and over the lower element to the chamber, means for closing and opening the chamber, means for vacuumising/re-supply of air to the upper and lower parts of the chamber for tight adjoining of the film and forming the lower web, as well as the device can be provided with means for separation of connected ready packages. The device has no other separate means for hot moulding of the lower web.
