SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packaging and methods of releasing substance into a package chamber. Package comprises a chamber, a hollow frame near the chamber and a brittle chamber of the chamber between the chamber and the frame. Method of releasing at least one substance into the package chamber involves breaking the brittle seal between the chamber and the hollow frame in order to release at least one substance contained in the hollow frame into the chamber. Packaging method involves using a base web, placing the product on the base web, placing the cover sheet over the product, attaching the cover sheet to the base web in order to form a chamber enclosing the product, attaching the cover web to the base web in order to form a hollow frame near the chamber and placing the substance in the frame.
EFFECT: technical result is expansion of functional capabilities of package.
