FIELD: conveyors.
SUBSTANCE: drum-type motor (1) is designed for usage in the gate conveyor. According to the first version of the invention the rotor of the electric motor (122) is connected to the body (10) of the drum with the help of the output driving element (128) of the drum-type motor in such a way that the body can be put in rotation with the help of the output driving element in relation to the first fastening element around the drum axle. The output driving element is situated on the same side of the drum-type motor drive unit as the first fastening element is. The swivel axis (129) of the output driving element does not coincide with the swivel axis (125) of the rotor. The first antifriction bearing (136) is stipulated between the drum-body and the fastening element (13). This bearing has a diameter that equals the diameter of the drive unit or exceeds it. According to the second version of the invention the drive unit and the drum body are installed in such a way that support is performed by the first bearing (135) and the central bearing with possibility of rotation relative to each other and excluding possibility of pitching deflection relative to each other. The central bearing is spaced from the first bearing along the drum axis (101). Behind the central bearing the second bearing (141) is stipulated. With the help of the latter the drum body is supported with possibility of rotation relative to the conveyor frame. The drive unit support in relation to the drum body is provided independently from the second bearing.
EFFECT: simplicity of production and usage of the drum-type motor.
