FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: the method for growing edible Pleurotus djamor or Pleurotus citrinopileatus fungi includes preparation of the substrate based on sunflower seed husks or wheat straw, enriched with suspension of Cryptococcus albidus, Hanseniaspora uvarum or Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast. The fruit bodies are received by seeding the miscella on the substrate. Before seeing the miscella the yeast suspension is added to the substrate with the concentration of 104-107 living cells in 1 ml per 100 g of substrate. Formation of fruit bodies in the samples occurs after 11-13 days of cultivation, the crop yield of fruit bodies ranges from 70 to 108 %.
EFFECT: improved crop yield and reduced time required to grow edible Pleurotus fungi.
